# 690  CA Ends Undefeated Season in One Goal Loss
strong>DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Canandaigua (13-1) ended their undefeated season at the hands of South Jefferson (Section III) in a one goal game that ended 8-7. Pal Mac Head Coach E.J. Burse won his 200th game when the Red Raiders defeated East Aurora. Thomas won on the road, defeated Liverpool 13-11.

BALDWINSVILLE-3 at VICTOR-22 -  The Blue Devils extended their winning streak to seven games.  Twelve players scored for Victor (12-3), led by Devin Livingston (4g/1a) and Julia Bruno (3g), and Harper Myers scored her first varsity goal.  The Blue Devils host Pittsford on Wednesday.        [ BOX SCORE] 

SOUTH JEFFERSON-8 at CANANDAIGUA-7 -   Canandaigua (13-1) was unable to overcome a 7-2 first-half deficit and suffered their first defeat of the season.  Nola Weaver had two goals for the Gray Wolves, and Hanna Davis, Caroline Lyttle, Lola Schorr, Leah Sheridan, and Samantha Lupton had one goal apiece.  The Gray Wolves travel to Brighton on Tuesday to take on the Bruins.       [ BOX SCORE] 

EAST AURORA-4 at PAL-MAC-18 -  Reagan Diehl (6g/3a) led the offensive onslaught for the Red Raiders, while Jenna Santelli contributed three goals and three assists, Teagan Hudak collected nine draw controls, and Isabelle Cole had eight saves. GREECE STORM-7 at AQUINAS-17 -  With the win, Aquinas improved its record to 8-5.  Savannah Hinchcliffe had seven goals and an assist to lead the Little Irish; ninth-grader Brynn Henry (2g/3a) and eighth-grader Alexandria Stacy (4g/1a) also made significant contributions.  Mara Misiurewicz scored four goals for Greece (8-5).  Aquinas is home to Eastridge/Bishop Kearney on Monday.  Greece is at Marcus Whitman on Wednesday.         [ BOX SCORE] 

THOMAS-13 at LIVERPOOL-11 -  The Titans traveled to Liverpool (III) and returned home with their fifth win of the season.  Olivia Bottoni and Sadie Eisenhart scored three goals each for Thomas (5-9), Olivia Ritchie and ninth-grader Harper Blakley chipped in two goals apiece, and Mia Estelle registered a game-high eight draw controls.  The Titans resume play Monday with a home game against Irondequoit.       [ BOX SCORE]

BROCKPORT-2 at SPENCERPORT-17 -  For the Rangers, it was their tenth consecutive win over the Blue Devils dating back to 2015.  Molly Guzik (5g/1a), Brooke Endres (4g), Sophia Marron (3g), and Alyssa Nichols (2g/1a) led the scoring for Spencerport (9-6).  There were no statistics reported from Brockport (4-9) at post time.  Both teams resume play at home Friday, with Spencerport facing Fairport and Brockport taking on Hilton.        [ BOX SCORE]

RUSH-HENRIETTA-18 at HILTON-3 - It was the Royal Comets’ ninth consecutive win over the Cadets.  Eight players scored for Rush-Henrietta (11-3), including Danielle Garrett (2g/6a), Kate DeWald (4g/2a), and Riley Brown (3g/3a), whose second goal was the 50th of her varsity career.  Ryleigh Lent had two goals for Hilton (3-10).  The Royal Comets are back on the field Thursday when they take on undefeated Canandaigua.  The Cadets visit Brockport on Friday.      [ BOX SCORE] 

NEWARK-MIDLAKES-12 at WAYNE-17 - In this battle of Eagles, the non-screaming variety prevailed.  The Eagles of Wayne (6-7) were led by Isabella Veltre (5g/1a), Madelyn Hillman (4g/2a), and Julia DiLeo (4g); Anabelle Ruffell collected eight draw controls, and Mimi Ugalde had 11 saves.  For the Screaming Eagles of Newark-Midlakes (4-9), Stella Del Papa had 13 draw controls—including the 200th of her varsity career—to go with two goals and three assists, and Zoey Overslaugh added five goals and an assist.  Both teams have home contests on Friday, with Wayne meeting Gates Chili and Newark-Midlakes facing off against Eastridge/Bishop Kearney.         [ BOX SCORE]

# 649  The 2024 Season Starts with three Games
strong>DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - [ UPDATED] The Girls season opened today with the temperature in the 50's. A bunch of 8th graders scored their first varsity goal in the Hilton win. Senior midfielder Molly Guzik (Spencerport) reached her 150th goal with her 5 goals (152g) and reached her 50th assist with her 4 assists (52a).

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-5 at HILTON-14. In the Section V season opener, the Cadets emerged victorious behind a balanced attack featuring Lilly Mattucci (3g/3a) and Elena Graziano (5a).  Charley Barlette added two goals for Hilton while also collecting five ground balls and causing three turnovers.  The Cadets resume their schedule on April 10 when they visit Thomas. Leading the scoring for Churchville-Chili were Shavonne Callahan (1g-1a) and Mercy Payne (2g-0a),   [ BOX SCORE] 

SCHROEDER-7 at PAL-MAC-4 - in a Non-League game: The Warriors opened their season with a win for new coach Emery Fleck.   Teagan Hudek led the Pal-Mac attack with two goals, while Isabelle Cole recorded six saves.  The Red Raiders look to get on the winning track when they host Marcus Whitman on Wednesday.
